Husband and wife team, Craig & Rebecca, started this crazy path by opening Brü Tap House in 2015. With a passion for craft beer and doing our part to help the local economy, we have had a focus on carrying local beers. During our time being open, we have realized that we need to offer food, so we looked into having food trucks. City ordinances didn’t allow for them during the time-frame that we need them, so when a restaurant closed in the front of the same building and remained vacant for more than a year, we decided to open it.
What has grown from necessity has been a one-of-a-kind restaurant for the area. We took three different types of food styles and turned the location into a brick & mortar food truck style restaurant.
The build-out took a while, but it was worth it. We were able to find and reuse so many great items including some metal from an 1851 farmhouse and diner tables that we up-cycled with pallet wood. Now the fun stuff happens…
